Sailboats In the Fog
It’s comforting that even San Diego gets grey skies sometimes – and much appreciated if a few rays of sunshine break through the morning fog to accentuate the nicely photogenic harbor scene.

The View from Sausalito
On a clear day, you can look all across the Bay, and if you catch the right spot there can be something poetic about the view of San Francisco, as seen from Sausalito.

Morro Bay
Halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles, a little south of Hearst Castle, lies Morro Bay, a quaint fishing village with an ugly power plant (not pictured) and a very photogenic harbor. Morro Rock, an ancient volcanic plug, is the town's landmark and a protected State Reserve.
